Lead Electrician / Foreman (Journeyman or 3rd–4th Year Apprentice)

White Light Electric is growing, and we are looking for a high-level electrician ready to step into a leadership role.

This role is ideal for a Journeyman Electrician or a driven 3rd or 4th year apprentice who is ready to step up, take responsibility, and grow into leadership.

What You'll Do

Lead and mentor apprentices and field crew members
Oversee and manage 1–2 commercial or industrial projects
Handle service calls and troubleshooting for commercial and industrial clients
Work alongside office staff on scheduling, materials, and project planning
Ensure field operations meet White Light Electric's safety and quality standards
Keep projects organized, productive, and on schedule
Assist with estimating, takeoffs, and job planning during downtime

What We're Looking For

Commercial or industrial electrical experience
Journeyman Electrician or motivated 3rd or 4th year apprentice
Confidence to run projects and manage field work
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to troubleshoot and handle service work independently
A safety-first mindset and pride in quality workmanship
Someone who wants to grow into leadership and build a long-term career

Senior Electrical Estimator / Preconstruction Manager

If you're tired of being just another estimator behind a desk, pushing numbers for a company that doesn't value your expertise, and you're ready to help shape projects from the ground up, this is your opportunity.

White Light Electric is growing, and we are looking for a Senior Electrical Estimator / Preconstruction Leader to help drive our next phase of growth.

This role is ideal for an experienced estimator who wants more than just takeoffs and spreadsheets.

What You'll Do

Prepare detailed electrical estimates for commercial and light industrial projects
Perform takeoffs, pricing, and estimate development using Trimble Accubid
Develop clear scopes of work, clarifications, and exclusions
Participate in preconstruction coordination and bid strategy discussions
Identify risk, constructability issues, and value opportunities
Assist with value engineering and alternate pricing when requested
Support the handoff from estimating to project management
Help build strong relationships with general contractors and project partners

What We're Looking For

Senior-level electrical estimating experience
Experience estimating in a non-union environment
Strong proficiency with Trimble Accubid
Ability to independently prepare full electrical estimates
Strong understanding of electrical drawings, specifications, and systems
Practical field awareness and working knowledge of electrical codes
Ability to communicate scope and pricing clearly and professionally

Preferred Experience

Commercial tenant improvement projects
Ground-up commercial construction
Light industrial electrical estimating
Participation in margin reviews and bid strategy discussions
Experience supporting estimates through award and project turnover

Residential Electrical Foreman – Custom Homes

White Light Electric is expanding into residential work, and we are looking for a Residential Electrical Foreman with custom home experience to help lead and build this division.

You will play a key role in helping establish and grow our residential division while maintaining the same high standards we bring to our commercial and industrial work.

What You'll Do

Lead and supervise crews on custom residential electrical projects
Oversee rough-in, trim-out, and final installation for high-end homes
Coordinate with builders, project managers, and other trades
Read and interpret plans, layouts, and electrical specifications
Ensure projects are completed on schedule and to high quality standards
Maintain jobsite safety, organization, and professionalism
Order and manage materials and jobsite needs
Troubleshoot and solve field issues as they arise

What We're Looking For

5–7 years residential electrical experience
Strong experience with custom homes
Ability to run residential projects and lead crews
Strong understanding of residential electrical systems and layouts
Ability to read plans and coordinate with builders
High attention to detail and craftsmanship
Strong communication and leadership skills
A safety-first mindset
